This experience-rich journey begins in Bergen, home of Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg, with the lively flower and fish markets of the Bryggen wharf and Akvariet, one of Europe’s largest saltwater aquariums. In the evening, you’ll embark on your Norwegian Coastal Voyage, sailing north to Kirkenes, an Arctic outpost along the border with Russia.

Itinerary

Departures: Daily, all year.

Day 1: Depart Canada

This evening, depart on your transatlantic flight to Bergen.

Day 2: Bergen

Transfer from airport to your hotel and have the rest of the day at your leisure in Bergen. Stroll the wooden buildings in the Bryggen Wharf, tour the home of famed composer Edvard Grieg, visit the famous art museums (with works of Edvard Munch and Paul Klee), and Bergenhus Castle.

Day 3: Bergen

Embarkation Tour this historical port city during the day, before youembark on your Norwegian Coastal Voyage this evening.

Days 4–8: Norwegian Coastal Voyage

Sail at a leisurely pace along Norway’s fjord-lined coast. The journey’s highlights include the Art Nouveau architecture of Alesund, the spectacular Geirangerfjord (April 15–September 14), ancient Trondheim, and the magnificent Lofoten Islands.

Day 9: Disembarkation

Kirkenes–Oslo Disembark in Kirkenes, fly to Oslo, and transfer to your downtown hotel. Your afternoon is free to enjoy Oslo.

Day 10: Depart Oslo

Return to Oslo Airport for your flight back to Canada.
