16 Days Beijing, Xian, Guilin, Yangshuo, Shanghai, Suzhou, Shanghai, Hong Kong

Day 1 (Thu) – Depart Canada

Day 2 (Fri) – Arrive Beijing (No meals)

Arrive Beijing and transfer to the Beijing International Hotel.

Day 3 (Sat) – Beijing (B,L)

Full day visit to the Temple of Heaven (watching the locals’ morning exercise activities), Tian’anmen Square, Forbidden City and Summer Palace.

Day 4 (Sun) – Beijing (B,L)

Full day visit to the Shaolin Kungfu Training School (or Sacred Way), and Badaling Great Wall. Photo stop at the Bird Nest & Water Cube if time allows. Jade workshop visit en route.

Day 5 (Mon) – Beijing (B,L)

Morning tour of Hutong & Panda Zoo. Lunch included. Pearl workshop visit en route. Afternoon free.

Day 6 (Tue) – Beijing/Xian (B,L)

Fly to Xi’an. Lunch included. Visit to the Grand Mosque, Muslim Street and Bell Tower. Stay at the Jian Guo Hotel Xi'an.

Day 7 (Wed) – Xian (B,L,TD)

Full day visit to the Terracotta Warriors & Horses, and City Wall. Visit to the ceramics & pottery workshop en route. Tang Dinner Show tonight.

Day 8 (Thu) – Xian/Guilin (B,L)

Fly to Guilin. Visit the Reed Flute Cave. Stay at the Park Hotel Guilin.

Day 9 (Fri) – Guilin/Yangshuo (B,L)

Explore the Li River by cruise with lunch on board. Upon arrival in Yangshuo, transfer to the Green Lotus Hotel Yangshuo or New Century Hotel Yangshuo.

Day 10 (Sat) – Guilin/Shanghai (B)

Morning free in Yangshuo. Transfer to airport and fly to Shanghai.

Arrival transfer in Shanghai and stay at the Ocean Hotel Shanghai.

Day 11 (Sun) – Shanghai (B,L)

Full day visit to the Yu Garden, Shanghai Museum, Xintiandi and the Bund.

Day 12 (Mon) – Shanghai/Suzhou/Shanghai (B,L)

Bus excursion to Suzhou. Visit Garden of Net Master, Lingering Garden, the Grand Canal, Silk spinning factory and the local market, Return to Shanghai.

Day 13 (Tue) –  Shanghai / Hong Kong (B)

Morning at leisure and then transfer to airport to Hong Kong. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel.

Hotel: 5* Deluxe Harbour Plaza 8 Degree Hotel or similar ( 3 nights)

Day 14 (Wed) – Hong Kong (B)

Today's Island Tour begins with a drive through the Central District, then on to the famous fishing village of Aberdeen with a population of 65,000 and whose people have adapted to the way of life on the river.  Repulse Bay is next with its stretch of golden sandy beaches making it the most picturesque area in Hong Kong. Your Island Tour ends at Victoria Peak for a panoramic view of the harbour, mountains of Kowloon and the islands of the South China Sea.

Day 15 (Thu) – Hong Kong (B)

Today is a free day for you to explore the city on your own.

Day 16 (Fri) – Hong Kong / Toronto (B)

Free time in the morning to do some last minute shopping. Say goodbye to Hong Kong as you board your transpacific flight home.
