9 Days Shanghai and Beijing

Itinerary

Day 1 Home City – Shanghai

Your journey begins with your transpacific flight. Spend the night aboard as we cross the International Date Line.

Day 2 Arrival Shanghai

Meet & transfer to the hotel

Day 3 Shanghai (B L D)

This morning we tour to the Old Downtown and classical Yu Garden. Afternoon we visit Shanghai Museum. The attractions include enormous finest stone sculptures, bronze-ware, porcelain, calligraphic works, Chinese paintings and ancient furniture. If time permits we’ll visit the Carpet Factory. Tonight we enjoy the famous Shanghai Acrobatic Show.

Day 4 Shanghai  (B.L)

Today’s highlight is to visit Shanghai World EXPO. It covers a large area of over 5.6 Square KM with 27 master halls. The theme is to show all new creational hopes, concepts, designs, technologies, and present to the world a full potential of urban life in the 21st century as a significant one for urban evolution and a New Approaches of Human Habitat, Beautiful Lifestyle. (Shanghai EXPO is available for May 01 – Oct 31, but during Feb01-Apr29, Nov01-Dec31 pre & post exhibitions might be available for visit. If Shanghai EXPO is not available, we’ll visit the ancient water-town Zhujiajiao & Jade Buddha Temple.)

Day 5 Shanghai / Beijing by air  (B)

Transfer & fly to Beijing. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for check-in. Free at leisure

Day 6 Beijing (B.L.D)

Full day tour to Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, the elegant Summer Palace the Panda House in Beijing Zoo.

Day 7 Beijing (B.L.D)

This morning we’ll visit the exterior of Bird Nest & Water Cube for photography. Later, we’ll tour to the Great Wall at Badaling. After lunch, we will visit the Ming Dynasty Imperial Tomb & the Sacred Way. If time permits, we’ll visit a Jade Carving Factory

Tonight we’ll enjoy a cultural show.

Day 8 Beijing (B.L.SD)

This morning we’ll visit Temple of Heaven & City Planning Museum to learn the glory history and fast changes of Beijing. In the afternoon we’ll take the old–fashioned Pedi cab to the historical Hutong area.Tonight we’ll enjoy Peking Duck Dinner

Day 9 Beijing - Home City   (B)

Free time in the morning to explore or relax. Say goodbye to Beijing as you board your transpacific flight home.
