GLP Worldwide Expedition Travel and Tours is acting as a distributor and reseller of FOCL only. GLP is not acting as an agent for FOCL. The following terms andconditions are those of GLP and not those published in the latest FOCL brochure. Your purchase is however subject to the terms in FOCL brochure in addition to the GLP Terms and conditions, requirements regarding insurance, medical, vaccination, passport and entry visas and terms incorporation of the Athens Conventions 1974 or otherwise limited or excluding liability.
Travel Documents: Canadian Citizens must be in possession of a valid passport with not less than six months validity remaining. Non Canadian citizens should consult the appropriate consulates or call your travel agent for assistance. Visas will be required on certain itineraries and you are responsible for obtaining all necessary documentation. If a visa is required, final documents will not be sent out until GLP has received a copy of the proper travel documents.
Deposits and Payments (All prices in CDN Dollars): A deposit of 15% of the complete cruise cost and a signed reservation request form is required once services are confirmed for all bookings. The balance is due no later than 75 days prior to departure. If reservations are made within 75 days of departure, the entire amount is to be submitted at the time of confirmation. A minimum rush fee of $30 per booking is applied to bookings made less than 30 days prior to departure. Some services may not be available with less than 30 days advance booking. Express mail/package delivery charges are at the client’s expense. Change and cancellation policies outlined below will apply after services are confirmed.
Rates and Fares: Cruise prices and prices for other options in England were converted to CDN dollars at a rate established by Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines. All rates and fares are those in effect as of January, 2010, and are subject to change without notice. Cruise line may withdraw discounts at any time.
Changes and Cancellations (please see below for updates for 2012/2013):
A $100 per person fee will be assessed for each change made once services are confirmed. You may cancel your bookings subject to notice to GLP in writing and payment to GLP of a cancellation fee in accordance with the following scale:
A $100 per person administrative fee and 57 days or more before departure – amount of deposit;
56 – 42 days prior to departure ---45% of the cruise cost;
41 – 16 days prior to departure ---75% of the cruise cost;
15 – 5 days prior to departure ---90% of the cruise cost; and Less than 5 days until day of departure or failure to travel --- 100% of the cruise fare. The effective date of cancellation is the date of receipt of written notice by GLP. Changes made less than 60 days prior to departure will be assessed the $200 change fee plus the $30 rush fee and express mail/package charges.
All of the above fees are in addition to any airline enforced cancel fees or other unrecoverable fees from suppliers. Airline tickets have their own cancellation and change penalties. No refund can be made for any tour accommodation, service or feature that you do not utilize or voluntarily change; if you cancel while the tour is in progress, there will be no refund for unused portions.
Trip Insurance: Evacuation or “onward carriage” insurance is mandatory. This is available at reasonable cost through GLP or your travel agent. In addition, travel insurance is required to protect you against loss due to cancellation, illness or accident. Some pre-existing medical conditions may be covered if your insurance payment is received within 10 days of your initial trip deposit.
Frequent Flyer Numbers: These must be supplied when you make your reservation. You are responsible to reconfirm your number with the airline upon check-in. PLEASE NOTE: GLP will assess a fee of $25 per passenger should we need to provide ticket copies to obtain frequent flyer mileage credit. Please retain your ticket receipt and boarding passes until the credit appears on your mileage statement.
Tour Price Includes: Accommodation with private bath or shower unless specified, all meals on the ship, port charges & taxes and transportation as described in the itinerary.
Not Included: Air transportation unless specified, passport and visa fees, airport departure taxes, all items of a personal nature including laundry, wine, liquor, room service, beverages, meals not specified in the itinerary, local transfers to/from hotels/docks unless specified, trip cancellation/interruption insurance, luggage handling, gratuities for drivers, guides, hotel staff and cruise staff .
Documents: Documents will be sent out approximately 3 weeks prior to departure from Canada. Normal delivery will be by Canada Post. If requested, express mail/delivery charges will be an additional $15. Final documents will not be sent out until final payment and a signed booking form have been received. Replacement documents are subject to a minimum $100 re-issue fee.
Responsibility and Release of Liability: GLP acts only as reseller for the contractors providing transportation, accommodations or other services. All tickets and vouchers are issued subject to any and all terms and conditions under which transportation, accommodations and other services are offered or provided and constitute the sole contract between the supplier and the tour member. GLP shall not be responsible in any way for loss, injury or damage arising from an Act of God, Acts of Governments or de facto authority, war, civil unrest, any kind of hostilities, strikes, theft, sickness, quarantine, immigration or customs regulations, hijacking, acts of terrorism, breakdown, delay, cancellation, error, omissions or any other cause beyond our control. GLP reserves the right, without advance notice, to make changes or cancellations, in part or in whole, as circumstances dictate; this may include changes in accommodation and/or transportation and in the itinerary. GLP is released of liability for consequences of personal activities of any passenger, who, as a consenting adult, is deemed personally responsible for decisions concerning conditions of health, safety, fitness for any activity in which the passenger participate. GLP is not responsible for omissions in prices and programs.
Any deposit for a package offered or represented by GLP shows acceptance and acknowledgement of prices, exclusions, conditions and responsibilities as stated in above and releases GLP and all of its agents and representatives from any and all liability, actions, causes of actions, suits,debts, demands that you may have in connections with your participation in a GLP or represented trip or activity.
Cruise Prices in this brochure were based upon advance purchase cruise rates as published in the Fred.Olsen Cruises 2010 / 2011 2nd Edition Cruise Guide. The cruise line may withdraw or increase those prices at any time. The right to correct errors in brochure without liability is retained.

Changes to Terms & Conditions
The deposit amount for the 2012 & 2013 Grand Voyages (full cruises only) is $1250 per person
(previously 10% for 2012 Grand Voyages).
The balance due date for all 2012/2013 cruises for new bookings from 1st June is 95 days
(previously 56 days).
Cancellation charges and deadlines for 2012/2013 cruises are now:
96 days or more - Loss of deposit
95 – 47 days prior – 45% of the contract price
46 – 21 days prior – 75% of the contract price
20 – 10 days prior – 90% of the contract price
Less than 10 days prior or failure to travel – 100% of the contract price
Fuel Charges
There are no fuel cost supplements to be added at time of booking to the fares in the new
brochure for 2012/2013 departures.
For all bookings on 2012/2013 departures made up to and including 31st August 2011, there is a
“No Fuel Surcharge” guarantee.
Fares
The fares featured for Jan to Apr 2012 departures replace those featured in the Worldwide
2011/2012 brochure.
Preview fares for Summer 2012 departures have now ended and are replaced with those
featured in the new brochure.
