Explore cplendid Cologne with its magnificent Dome and admire the picturesque Rhine castles on your way to bustling Frankfurt and medieval Heidelberg. Continue to fascination Koblenz and cruise the beautiful Mosel River Valley to charming Cochem and lovely Bernastel. Disembark in Trier, Germany's oldest town, and tour Luxembourg befoe your splendid finale in Paris.

DAY 1, DEPART CANADA
Board your overnight flight Amsterdam, Holland

DAY 2, ARRIVE IN AMSTERDAM, HOLLAND
Your luxurious river cruise ship is moored near the city center. Meet your fellow travelers tonight at the Welcome Dinner. (D)

DAY 3, AMSTERDAM
After breakfast, admire beautiful 18th-century homes, charming churches and 17th-century merchant houses on a guided canal boat tour. Then enjoy a panoramic city tour of Amsterdam, including a photo stop a Windmill, followed by free time. (B,L,D)

DAY 4, DÜSSELDORF – COLOGNE, GERMANY
Arrive in Düsseldorf this morning and take a motor coach to Venlo, where you will have the unique opportunity to visit the Floriade World Horticultural Expo. Bringing together more than 100 exhibitors from dozens of countries, the Floriade Expo grounds will feature five themed zones connected by wooded areas. Each of the zones contains its own horticultural exhibits, cultural attractions, activities, restaurant, music, dance and theatrical performances. Late this afternoon, travel to Cologne, where your ship is now docked. Enjoy a guided walking tour through the old part of the city and a visit to the fabled 13th-century Gothic cathedral. As an alternative to a walking tour, take a guided bike tour (capacity controlled). Late tonight, the ship departs for Rüdesheim. (B,L,D)

DAY 5, RÜDESHEIM
This morning, admire the stunning beauty of the Rhine castles and infamous Lorelei Rock as you cruise through the Rhine Gorge. After lunch, arrive in Rüdesheim, where you will enjoy an afternoon wine tasting with a local vintner. Explore the Drosselgasse, a narrow alley lined with wine taverns and restaurants during your free time. In the evening, visit Siegfried's Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum, which houses one of the greatest collections of robotic and self-playing musical instruments from the 18th-20th centuries. The ship overnights here. (B,L,D)

DAY 6, RÜDESHEIM – MAINZ-KOBLENZ
Early this morning, you will cruise on the Rhine River, where you will see the stunning beauty of the Rhine castles and the infamous Lorelei Rock as we sail through the fascinating Rhine Gorge. Arrive in Mainz after breakfast and decide between two different excursions. You can choose a walking tour of beautiful Mainz, where you will see the famous Gutenberg Museum, home of the world’s first printed bible. In the afternoon, arrive in Rüdesheim and visit Siegfried’s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum, which houses one of the greatest collections of robotic and self-playing musical instruments of the 18th-20th centuries. In the alternative, chose an excursion to Heidelberg, Germany’s oldest university town. You will visit the red-walled Heidelberg Castle, the Great Vat and also take a walking tour of Old Heidelberg. Tonight, the ship cruises to Koblenz, which is situated at the confluence of the Mosel and Rhine rivers. (B,L,D)

DAY 7, KOBLENZ – COCHEM
This afternoon, arrive in picturesque Cochem, located amidst the steep vineyards and wine villages of the Mosel. You will have your choice of a walking tour and guided visit to the hilltop Reichsburg Castle, featuring spectacular views of the Mosel. In the alternative, you may choose to participate in a guided bike tour of this lovely town (capacity controlled). (B,L,D)

DAY 8, BERNKASTEL – LUXEMBOURG
This morning, arrive in charming Bernkastel, where you will enjoy a vineyard visit and walking tour. Strategically located in the heart of the Mosel, the town boasts over 500 years of documented wine history. Bernkastel features a medieval marketplace and half-timbered homes with steep gables and beautiful town squares with fountains dating back centuries. Above the town stand the ruins of Castle Landshut, the former summer home of the Archbishop of Trier which was destroyed by a fire in the 17th-century. You will also enjoy wine tasting with a local vintner. This afternoon, your ship cruises to Luxembourg. (B,L,D)

DAY 9, LUXEMBOURG – DISEMBARK – PARIS, FRANCE
This morning, bid farewell to your cruise. You will then have a panoramic transfer to the capital of the Grand Duchy, and will see the Luxembourg American Cemetery and Memorial, final resting place of Gen. George S. Patton, Jr. You will enjoy a walking tour of Luxembourg, and then have some free time for lunch on your own before boarding a TGV high-speed train to Paris. Arrive in the mid-afternoon and check in to your hotel. (B)

DAY 10, PARIS
Enjoy Paris’ famous sights during this morning's guided tour. Start with a panoramic tour in which you will see the Champs Élysées, Place de la Concorde and the Eiffel Tower. Your tour concludes with a visit to Notre Dame Cathedral. The remainder of the day is yours to explore on your own. (B)

DAY 11, PARIS
Your last day in the “City of Light” is free for you to enjoy at leisure. Or, you may decide to join the optional Seine Cruise & Eiffel Tower excursion in the morning or the optional Parisian Cabaret excursion this evening. (B)

DAY 12, PARIS
Transfer to the airport for your homeward flight. (B)
